I am a self-taught photographer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I am focused on making personal documentary work that is closely connected to where I live. Through asking questions and meeting people I am able to let my curiosity take the lead. In this way I like to question the edges and boundaries of documentary and personal, more emotional work. This then helps me to ground myself deeper in my environment. I use the medium of photography to give space to subconscious interests, obsessions, fears, memories and intuition.
